Mechanical Engineer
We are looking for a mechanical engineer with experience in designing precision motion control stages and systems. The ideal candidate should be familiar with the design requirements of nano- and/or micropositioning stages, systems and sub-systems.
Candidate Profile:
- BS, MS or PhD in ME
- Prior precision stage design experience
- Solidworks design experience
- Experience with design for vacuum, cryo, non-magnetic environment desired, but not mandatory

Application/Sales Engineer
We are looking for an application/sales engineer with experience in precision motion control. The ideal candidate should be familiar with nano- and/or micropostioning applications, both from a mechanical as well as controller perspective. The candiate will support outside sales, help customers select the best solution, and integrate standard products into systems.
Candidate Profile:
- BS, MS or PhD in ME or EE
- Prior experience selling precision motion control products to national labs, bio-tech, semiconductor and similar markets
- LabView and/or CAD (Solidworks) experience preferred

Production Technician/Engineer
We are looking for a production technician/engineer with experience in precision electromechanical assembly. The ideal candidate should have experience in assembly of precision positioning equipment and be able to support our small, but growing assembly operation from assembly to production planning. Metrology experience is an advantage, but not required.
Candidate Profile:
- Assembly experience in precision electro-mechanical environment
- An "eye" for detail is essential. If you have relevant traits such as a surface mount assembler's patience , a "watch-maker's" dexterity, or model building passion, you are welcome to apply even if you lack a motion control background.
- Metrology experience preferred
- CAD experience preferred (Solidworks)

Regional Application/Sales Engineer (East Coast)
We are looking for an application/sales engineer with experience in precision motion control. The ideal candidate should be familiar with nano- and/or micropostioning applications, both from a mechanical as well as controller perspective. Ideally, you are located in a major East Coast metropolitan city such as Boston or New York. You will be able to work from a home office and support our customers locally.

- BS, MS or PhD in ME, EE or Physics
- Prior experience selling precision motion control products to national labs, bio-tech, semiconductor and similar markets

Engineering Interns (Mech./Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science)
If you are interested in applying your knowledge to the real world, we are the place to be. At Micos, you will be able to work on actual projects that will test your capabilities. We have many development projects and systems that can be done within a summer break or within a part time arrangment while you pursue your degree.
You should have knowledge of electro-mechanical systems, ideally in precision motion control. However, if you are a star in any particular field stated in the postion headline, please apply.
Candidate Profile:
- Pursueing a dregree in ME, EE or Physics
- Hands-on capabilities in areas such as:
- Embedded programming, Labview, Linux, etc
- CAD (Solidworks), FAE
- Optical concepts such as interferometers
