D E S C R I P T I O N
With the Nano Pusher NP-40 manual drives can be replaced by motor drives. Furthermore it is an ideal component for limited space conditions. Alternatively the NP-40 can be equipped with a carrier. Small structural parts like optical fibers, fiber arrays, objectives can be very precisely positioned. Small light structural parts such as mirrors and diodes can be directly mounted to carrier. The Nano Pusher NP-40 is equipped with a ground zero-backlash recirculating ball screw for a quiet precise and homogeneous smooth move. Resolutions up to 0,1 µm (SMC-series) are achieved. No rotation when running-in and running-out. Nano Pusher NP-40 are offered with DC or 2-phase-direct drive motor. Nano Pusher NP-40 with DC-motor is standard equipped with a length measuring system. Operation with a 2-phase-step motor can be made in open-loop (without linear encoder) or in closed-loop (with linear encoder).
