The VT-80 linear translation stage is a popular, cost-effective motorized laboratory stage with a wide range of travel ranges. The positioner is guided by backlash-free re-circulating ball bearings and driven with a backlash compensated lead screw for quiet and smooth motion. All VT-80 linear translation stages are equipped with integrated limit switches. Closed-loop DC servo motors and 2-phase stepper motors are available. Additionally the VT-80 can be ordered as an intelligent stage with integrated controller. Due to the compact dimensions, VT-80 stages are especially suitable for lower duty cycle applications in instrumentation, for higher duty cycles, our ball-screw drives or linear motors are recommended. XY-stage combinations are easily assembled. 25 mm XY combinations need to be assembled at the factory. Please indicate set-up configurations when ordering.
